Nottinghamshire Toll Ride To Open With ‘Ride Before You Buy’ Day
Horse riders will soon be able to take advantage of new off-road riding route which is opening in July. The new toll ride, situated in Kinoulton, Nottinghamshire will officially open on the 31st July with an open day where riders can 'try before they buy'. The route is a 3.5 miles loop linking to bridleways from Colston Bassett and Kinoulton and allows riders to get away from the roads. The route was set up by a CLA-run project called Ride Welland, in conjunction with the Toll Rides (Off-Road) Trust which aimed to promote tourism in the east midlands and also looked to provide safer off road riding for horse riders. The ride will be open from 10am on the 31st and riders are invited to come and try the route out. The cost of riding on the route will be £65 for the year (for Kinoulton-only members). If you would like to come along and try the route for yourself and for information and maps, contact Catherine Ellis, the local agent at cat.hammond5@btinternet.com.
